MEL'S MOUNTAIN BIKE; MY BLAISDELL FAMILY NATIONAL ASSOCIATION 2025 T-SHIRT DESIGN; & FINAL UPDATE ON CONTAINER HOME - Monday, September 30 - Tuesday, October 8, 2024

Monday, September 30, 2024

Mel got a rack fixed on the bak of our big truck to hold his new electric mountain bike. The bike should be safe and secure while we are going down the road.

I'm so excited! I received the sample of the 2025 Blaisdell Family National Association t-shirt I designed for the July 2025 BFNA Reunion. The front and back of the t-shirt is shown below. I think it looks great!

And just to be on top of things for next year's BFNA reunion in July 2025 in Maine, I have already sent in our registration. Should be a lot of fun!

Mel gets ready to take off for a mountain bike ride on the gravel road from the Griffin ranch into the town of Matheson. He sure is loving the new bike!

This morning I decided to take some last pictures of the container home before we leave for awhile.

Shown above and below is our bedroom in the container home with the beautiful quilt I made on the bed.

Shown above is the bathroom sink in the container home. You can see the reflection of the cabinet that is above the stool (while below is a picture of the cabinet in the bathroom).

Off from the bathroom area is the shower (shown below).

Shown above and below is the kitchen and living room area in our container home looking out to our deck.

In the pictures above and below, Mel has our stackable washer and dryer pulled out because he is winterizing them getting ready for us to leave.

Shown above and below is  the deck and entrance door into our container home. We just love sitting out on the deck in the evening.

And that's a quick walk-through our container home.

And finally shown above is our "Container Sweet Container Home" that sits out on a Colorado range:

"Oh, give me a container home where the buffalo roam,
Where the deer and the antelope play,
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
And the skies are not cloudy all day!"
