Today is our 44th wedding anniversary. 

We decided to go out to eat at the Ultimate Buffet in Colorado Springs for our anniversary. Afterwards we ran some errands. Home Depot had some spooky decorations (see below).

And to top it off -- we had a beautiful sunset to end the day!

It's a great fit for my Brother sewing machine and supplies.

Today Mel got the shower in our container home all finished including the door.

We are still trying to sell the white truck -- we have dropped the price to $17,500.

But still no takers! But the truck received extensive hail damage at the ranch while we were in Gunnison, so Mel called Progressive Insurance and they sent out someone to look at the damage.

This afternoon we put dishes in the cabinets in the kitchen area of our container (see above and below).

Later this afternoon, we heard from Progressive and they totalled the truck. So we decided to accept the check and they will pick up the truck early next week. We drove into Limon to celebrate!

The sky was pretty on our way back to Matheson.

Mel loves to play with the kittens at the ranch.

Meow! Both Mel and the kitten seem to enjoy each other's company.
