Since we had got back to the ranch in April of this year, we had been trying to sell the truck and camper that we took to Alaska.
Well today was the day we sold the camper and got 13 piles of $100 bills, or $13,000 for it (see picture below). We're sure relieved to have finally sold it. Now just waiting for the right buyer to come along and buy the truck. (We think we may have it sold the truck -- we are just waiting for the cashier's check to arrive.)

Well today Mel walked into the post office and we had recieved a priority mail envelope (see below).
And inside was a check -- not a cashier's check as we had requested. Well was it real or was it a fake check?
We took it to our Wells Fargo bank the next day to check on it. And immediately one of the bank's financial people said it was a fake check and we should not deposit it. Should have known -- scammers work hard to make money, so they're always inventing new ways to take advantage of people. Our best bet is to be a bit skeptical and stay alert.
So the truck is still for sale . . .

We see beautiful rainbows here on the ranch all the time after a rain storm, but this one was a particularly awesome double rainbow.
